Important information for Ni-Vanuatu citizens
Ni-Vanuatu passport holders must obtain a visa to enter Vietnam, regardless of whether the purpose of entry is tourism or business. The e-Visa is currently the simplest and quickest option, as the entire procedure is completed online. After your application is approved, the e-Visa will be issued electronically and sent to you by email, or you can also download it from the official e-visa website.
Vietnam accepts the e-Visa for entry at 13 airports, 16 land border crossings, and 13 seaports.
Please be aware that airlines will only allow boarding with a valid visa. If the visa has expired or contains details that do not match those in your passport, boarding will be refused. However, Ni-Vanuatu travelers flying directly to Phu Quoc (PQC) may enter Vietnam without a visa for up to 30 days, as long as the following conditions are fulfilled:
- Arrival and departure take place directly to and from Phu Quoc, either by air or sea.
- An onward ticket to a destination outside of Vietnam within 30 days is presented.
- The traveler is not barred from entering Vietnam.
